The 21st century has seen basketball legends rise to incredible heights, redefining the game and captivating fans worldwide. From unparalleled skill to relentless determination, these players have left their mark on the NBA. Here’s a countdown of the top 10 NBA players of the 21st century, based on their key accomplishments and legacies.
10. Allen Iverson
Key Accomplishments: 2000-2001 MVP, 11X All-Star, NBA All-Star Game MVP (2001, 2005), NBA Rookie of the Year (1997), 3X Steals Leader (2001-2003), NBA 75th Anniversary Team, NBA Hall of Fame.
Arguably the best ball handler in the NBA, Allen Iverson averaged 26.7 points and 2.2 steals per game over his career. His best season was with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2005-2006, when he averaged 33.0 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game. In an era dominated by giants, Iverson’s scoring ability led the 76ers to the 2001 NBA Finals, where they fell to the Lakers.
9. Nikola Jokic
