IAAM Championship/Tournament Results
Last Night, the #5 ranked varsity volleyball team avenged their in-season loss to Archbishop Spalding and beat the #4 ranked Cavaliers in the quarter-final round of the IAAM tournament.
The team will take on #1 Mt de Sales tomorrow at 5:00 PM at Mt de Sales. I know the team would love to have a big showing from the swamp!! Last time the two teams met the match went to five sets.
Singles #1 Grace Yurko and doubles team #3 Adair Roulette and Augusta Burger both took their opponents to the third set yesterday in the championship match. Although the Gators came up short, the coach was super proud of the fight, and it was a great season for the team as they finished third in the conference tournament.
Varsity Cross Country ran in the IAAM Championships yesterday afternoon at Shawan Downs. Sam Richardson finished 6th among all B conference runners with a time of 21:45. The team finished 4th in conference.
