What Makes St. Paul's Special

St. Paul's isn’t just a school where we study for exams and complete assignments—it’s a community that offers countless opportunities and experiences to help students grow into well-rounded young adults. Our faculty strives to build strong, meaningful relationships, and as a student, it’s evident that our teachers care about us as individuals, not just as students.

From leadership opportunities in clubs and student government to participation in theater and sports, St. Paul’s is truly a place where everyone can find their passion and thrive.

 

Teddy Johnson (Senior)
Teddy Johnson, a senior who has been part of the St. Paul’s community for 12 years, is deeply involved in all the school has to offer. As a member of the football team, he shares, “St. Paul’s football was a great way to get to know new people and coaches who helped me grow as a person and become more disciplined.”

Teddy also highlights the importance of taking advantage of opportunities at St. Paul’s, such as his trip to Malaysia with students from the Japanese course. “Through this experience, I was able to learn about different cultures and practices found in Asia,” he says.

Avi Joseph (Freshman)
Avi Joseph, who has attended St. Paul’s for 11 years, is an enthusiastic member of the woodworking program. “Woodworking is my favorite extracurricular at St. Paul’s. I get to build any project I want with help from our teacher, Mr. Rouse,” Avi shares.

One of Avi’s favorite memories is from middle school when he participated in Mr. Kleiman’s 3D-printed rocket project, where students got to launch their rockets from Sheila Field.

Mrs. Korrow (English Teacher)
Mrs. Korrow, an English teacher at St. Paul’s for four years and a parent of two SP students, cherishes her time at the school. “Friday afternoons, I take my kids to Tullai after school. I love watching lacrosse games while my kids play with their friends,” she shares.

She loves the community spirit, particularly at sports events, and values the diverse cultural and educational opportunities her children receive as they progress through St. Paul’s.

Russel Robertson (Middle School Student)
Russel Robertson, a middle school student for three years, has made the most of his St. Paul’s experience. His favorite memory is playing flag football, coached by legendary lacrosse coaches Sett and Brock.

Russel also enjoys playing basketball and participating in the basketball club, which “keeps [him] busy.” His favorite classes include English, history, and robotics. Russel particularly treasures the Great Crusader Chapel tradition, where two students from each grade are recognized for their leadership and kindness. “It gives everyone an opportunity to be seen and be kind,” he explains.

Joey Zinzi (Senior)
Joey Zinzi, president of the beloved Tuesday Donuts club, has been attending St. Paul’s for six years. His favorite memory is the legendary 2024 pep rally before the BL rivalry football game. “The pep rally was electric. Football players say it got us the dub—it gave us that edge to win,” Joey shares.

As a lacrosse player and member of the SP Story Program, Joey is deeply involved in the school’s traditions. His favorite? The SP-BL football rivalry game. “The community has one goal—beating BL,” he says.
